Stand up paddleboarding with a long double bladed paddle is a game changer! Plus the paddle can be used the traditional way with one blade, and it serves as a sit down kayak paddle also. The package includes the nylon padded bag with compartments to keep the three blades, the handle, and the centre shaft scratch free. The shaft is aluminum, the blades are a mix of fibreglass and polypropylene with a TPE edge for durabiity.
 
The paddle weighs approximately 3.78 pounds when used with both long blades for stand up kayak style paddling and it's length adjusts from 10 feet to just under 13 feet long.
 
For single bladed paddling, there are 2 options. 
The paddle with the short blade and the handle weighs 2.17 pounds and adjusts from 75 to 85 inches.
The paddle with the long blade and the handle weights 2.56 pounds and adjusts from 75 to 100 inches.
 
For seated kayak style paddling, therefore using one long blade and one short blade it weighs approximately 3.39 pounds, and adjusts from approximately 93 inches to over 115 inches. It's fun to try the paddle in it's many possibilities and find what feels best for you. 
 
 Kayak style paddling in a standing position is a great core workout plus you won't drip on your dog when switching sides every 3 strokes like you do on a single bladed paddle. This paddle is very high quality, durable, and stiff and a few customers have told us they actually prefer the feel of this paddle over the carbon as they like the extra weight.
